San Seh Noodle House: Simple Noodles Made Extra Delicious!

I am always on the look-out for hole-in-the-wall places and other eateries that offer extraordinary-tasting food. And that quest has landed me on the doorstep of San Seh in Tomas Morato, near the Boys Scout Rotonda.

Very simple place at first glance but my companion, who suggested we eat here, said that the dumplings are delicious. She got me at that line.

So for a quick dinner, here is what we ordered:
Beef and Wanton Noodle Soup (Php 180.00)
Good for sharing size. Very tasty. The hand-pulled noodles were plenty and the wanton was superb! I liked it. We requested for a soup refill and that was accommodated.
Pork Dumplings (7pcs/Php 115.00)
They were good. Generous filling. Pour some black vinegar on it and it's good. Eat this fast because the wrapper can get dry after 20 minutes or so.
Beancurd Roll (Php 95.00)
3 pieces in quantity only but with all the food that we had (only 2 of us), we were not able to finish all. A shame because I liked this dumpling too. It's filled and yummy.
The interiors.
And outside.
The prices were fair and the food was indeed great.

For the service, not so exemplary but hey, the food will make you come back. All is good then. šŸ˜Š

The Bunny Baker: Indeed the Cutest Cafe!

The love for trying new places lead me to the entrance of The Bunny Baker along E.Rodriguez Avenue in Quezon City. I know that I have seen their place last year but it was just a few days ago where I had the opportunity to drop by.

My first impression? "What a very cute place!". Main color scheme is pink and the "little girl" in me felt so kikay and kilig.

You can order customized cakes from them. Cool!
They have a lot of options for Bunnylato, well that is just their cute name for gelato, to choose from.
Pink Lemonade (Php 65.00)
Just a hint of sourness that made it very refreshing. And I loved that shade of pink!
Cheese, Garlic & JalapeƱo Quesadilla (Php 185.00)
I loved this! Generous filling and the taste was fantastic! The chopped jalapeƱo surely did provide the kick but it blended well with the melted and gooey cheese and garlic. Thumbs up!
Berry Bunnylato (Php 110.00 for 1 scoop)
Very light and not overly creamy. I chose this particular flavor because I wanted something refreshing to the taste because of the hot weather at that time. I wanted to try Salted Caramel but that would have to wait for the next visit.
My very girly meal! Loved everything!
Overall, I enjoyed my meal and the ambiance of The Bunny Baker Cafe. Prices are fair. Service was great, they were courteous and attentive. Great place to catch up with friends or do some alone time. I'd love to go back in the near future. =)

Cafe Nenzo: A Hidden Gem in Meycauayan, Bulacan

Tucked in the small and simple town of Meycauayan in Bulacan is a place that has now gained a lot of popularity with the foodie community in and outside of the area.

Cafe Nenzo was something that I discovered for myself while browsing friends' Facebook posts then trickled to Instagram posts. What I saw, I liked, and that piqued my interest all the more.

So last month, me and my family got to try this cool place for our pre-Valentine dinner. Yes!

Refreshing water with that big chunk of citrus
The Smoothies - Weight Loss and Body Detox
Mix of organic greens, fruits, chia seeds, etc. Such a steal at Php90 each!
Veggie Sisig
Quite a revelation! Tasted like the real thing. It was so delicious. I really believed them when they said that this is one of their bestsellers.
Mixed Seafood Aglio Olio
Did not taste like the usual aglio olio but not necessarily bad either. I actually liked this.
Shrimp and Pesto Overload
This stone-baked rolled pizza was so delicious. The sauce was generous and I loved the combination of the pesto and shrimps.
Philly Cheesesteak Pizza
Very flavorful and the toppings were thick! Add the diced tomatoes, some lettuce and alfalfa sprouts and you will appreciate it even more.
Baby Back Ribs with Smoky Barbecue Sauce
Meat so tender that you won't be needing the assistance of a knife for this. The price was so fair too.
Chocolate Shake
Very chocolate-y!
Carrot Cake
Very good! Moist and not so sweet so it was perfect for the sweet ending to our dinner
Macadamia Sansrival
Very fancy looking for a "provincial" resto but this one definitely hit the spot with me! It was not dry and not overly sweet and that macadamia topping made it so much fun to eat.
I will be back!
Overall, it was a great first time. me and my family were really impressed with the food that we ate. I have recommended this place to several friends and they too have been happy with their experience. You will truly get your money's worth here. Two thumbs up!
