I know I haven't been that "masigasig" in keeping up with my blog posts last year and I just sigh with the lost opportunities to document semi-real time my travels, foodie delights, etc. But the past is past and there is definitely no turning back the hands of time.
With that, I would just like to summarize the year that was for me. For my own, sort of, table of contents, haha! So here goes:
February
The Big Buddha at Lantau Island |
St. Paul ruins at Macau |
- Bangkero Festival of Pagsanjan, Laguna
- Sidetrip at the towns of Calamba & Pila, Laguna
Pagsanjan's Puerta Real |
The tallest Dr. Jose Rizal statue to date.. at Calamba, Laguna |
- Visita Iglesia de Paa (my 6th year!)..literally made the travel on foot, it's my personal devotion
The famous...and super crowded..Quiapo Church |
- Bacolod City & Victorias City, Negros Occidental
The antique Victorias Milling Co. locomotive proudly displayed at the old and unkempt milling place..such a shame. The place is just a shadow of its former glory |
The Church of the Angry Christ in Victorias City |
- Taal, Batangas
A postcard-perfect backdrop..Taal Basilica which is Asia's biggest Catholic church. |
- Masskara Festival of Bacolod City
November
- Luneta Park
- Higantes Festival of Angono, Rizal
The guarded monument of our beloved hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. |
The proud Higantes! |
- Subic, Zambales
- Quezon City Circle
- Giant Lantern Festival of San Fernando, Pampanga
Adrenaline rush here at the Subic Treetop adventure! |
My much overlooked view. But was so glad to have visited it again. Next time, I want to go inside the museum! |
Long drive to San Fernando, Pampang to eagerly see their pride..giant lanterns! |
